In response to demand, the Old Morgantown Glass Collectors' Guild (OMGCG) has reprinted Jerry Gallagher's classic Handbook of Old Morgantown Glass. New material for this edition includes name and numerical indexes and a new price guide. There is also a six page research update. Gallagher's original work has been completely reprinted, including six pages of color photos. The remainder of the book is B&W photos, line drawings and Morgantown advertising reprints along with Gallagher's copious reserach text.
If you only want one Morgantown book, this is it. The amount of detail is tremendous. The cuttings & etchings section primarily uses line drawings instead of photos. This is a great help in identification. Gallagher tries to document the color production for each item or line, but given Morgantown's vast rainbow and long production span, some omissions were bound to occur. Overall, it's the best Morgantown reference out there.
